Well i've just got into the public access comps in the uni and its began to piss it down so i figured i should do this updateing....RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT.


Moving House

Myself, Dani, Adam and Dan all moved in to 9 Wellfield road on the 1st of June after the Landlord Fred Messed us around for a couple of days worrying about the state of the house. To be fair the previous tenants left the house in a disgusting way and so we had to clean up thier shit. But we're all settled in and stuff now, tis pretty awesome, mwuahah i also have the biggest bedroom :D. When we get the net in the house ill take pictures and put them up.

Download Festival

A week after moving house Dan, Dani and myself headed off to Donnington for Download. We travelled there with James, Afro Dani, Jem, some of Jem's mates and James' girlfriend. After getting there we met up with Sarah, Bam and Rich and sorted our tents out. I ended up camping with dani as instead of buying a tent i discovered that i had bought a windshelter..... Man was i kicking myself when i opened that up ¬_¬. The first day there was spend getting pretty high, exploring the place and getting very drunk.

The Friday we seen Megadeth, Dragonforce, Korn (who were awesome) and Hayseed Dixie. That night i also tried to met up with Ellie whop i hadn't seen in a few years but phone batteries don't really tend to last very long at festivals :S. One thing that REALLY shit me up though was seeing Taran at Download. He rang me asking to meet him so i left our camp site to meet him. Walking down the dusty path, pretty stoned some weird motherfucker wearing a blow up doll as a costume came running at me with rope around his neck being held by two people i didn't know, that was freaky as hell. I ignored the person and carried on walking, then i heard them calling my name and it hit me, it was Taran. I walked back to him laughing and shaking my head whilst about a good 50 people just stared at what the hell was going on. I tried to talk with Taran but he was tripping balls on acid so most of the things he was saying made little sense, funny though.

The Saturday was spend seeing Marilyn Manson (who i think was piss poor, he even forgot his own lyrics to the fight song ffs!), Slayer, Machine head (awesomenss), Bowling for soup (Well, we sat on the field and just listened to them in the background), Shadows Fall, Hell Yeah (Hehehe, during seeing Hell Yeah it suddenly dawned on me that i was wearing my Strapping Young Lad T-Shirt which on the back says " Hell Yeah You Fucking Suck" which are lyrics to a SYL song, but it looks like its insulting the band Hell Yeah, so yeah, i took my top off for that lol) but i missed Turisas, damn early starts, i managed to hear thier last song from where Dan was camped adn they sounded pretty epic. That night i didnt do too much stuff since i didn't want to feel like shit for Devildriver the next day.

Woke up early on the Sunday and went to see Devildriver. As soon as i got to the Dimebag tent my hairs stood on head, i was hyped. Dan and Dani stand near the middle but i got 1 person from the very front which was fucking awesome. They played a pretty bad ass set and two songs off the new album. The BEST party of the thing though was the circle pit for the last song Meet The Wretched, it was fucking HUGE, just google video "Download, Meet The Wretched, circle pit" and you'll see for yourself, it was the size of a football field and as the pit began to form got right on the front inner line, twas ace. I manged to met Taran in the pit as well as Scott which was pretty cool. Bad thing was though that the one of the mats on the floor kinked during it and i tripped over it and had 5 other people slam onto my legs, but like in all good pits you get lifted up and carry on. So yeah that was my highlight of the festival. I also got to see Dimmu Borgir who kicked ass, Killswtich, Stone Sour, Lamb Of God, seen Papa Roach on the big screen (who sucked as expected), i managed to miss Orange Goblin and Dream Theater :(. And then the main headline band came on as it was beginning to get dark, Iron Maiden. Personally im not a big Maiden fan but they ruled, they played a reeeeally cool set.

Unfortunatly, James girlfriend began to shit bricks at the thought that there may be another riot like last year so she booked our mini cab halfway through maiden and didn't tell anyone until an hour before which you can imagine pissed us all off abit. So thats a brief overview of the Download Festival.

House Warming

A week after getting back from Download we threw our house warming party. I manged to get Dale and Planty up from Wrexham and Dan got some of his mates from Warrington as well as the usual crowd and a few otehr people we randomly see around. Ended up with a pretty good turn out, had about 25ish people there at one point, loads of beer, weed, music, Halo 2 link ups and the like. I can't really remember too much. Oh yeah, the police came around because some chavs were harrassing the neighbours so they knocked on our door to see if we heard anything. As Adam opens the door the police ask if theres a party going on with grin, stupidly somebody had left Si's huge bong right in the middle of the doorway to the living room, thankfully the police decided to turn a blind eye, its not like we're causing trouble after all. Si also managed to destroy himself within a couple of hours, Half a bottle of JD and a few bongs and he was throwing up outside next door's window hahaha.

After that nothing special happened for a while, just the usual shit.


Cheltenham

2 weeks ago i set off on what was ment to be a 4 hour coach ride to Cheltenham to visit Ellie, ended up being almost 7 hours, grrr. Got there and met 2 of Ellies mates, Bill and Mike and we went to the pub until she arrived. Not a bad place Cheltenham by the looks of things. I stayed over there from the Friday to the following Tuesday and Ellie, Bill, Mike and i just crashed round at Bill's every night and got high after going out drinking every night. Hehe since Ellie also worked at the night club we went to i got manya free snakey B which is never a bad thing. I also managed to leave my glasses there and a pair of my baggies which was stupid. Im just glad i've got contact lens now or i'd be pretty fucked trying to type all this up, but the glasses have been posted to me which is all good, buuuut theres a postal strike which is baaaaaad, it also means that my already late student loan application is gonna be even later now, ghey. But yeah a generally good time was had in Cheltenham just chilling, meeting random people and getting wasted.

Back Home

So on the Tuesday i got back home and everybody was out so i sat in the living room watching last man standing on BBC3, pretty brutal show at times.

HSBC

I also now offically HATE the bank HSBC. Went in there yesterday to get a stuend account since i have 6p to my name and apparantly im not allowed one, they also thought it'd be fitting to tell me off for not putting my money in the bank which isn't on, its MY money, i'll do whatever the fuck i like with it. So i went into Natwest earlier on and came out of thier with a brand new bank account, a £1250 overdraft and they've sorted out all my direct debits so that they take money out of the new Natwest account. So so far im very impressed with them, HSBC took ages to sort that stuff out when i got an accoutnthe first time and on top of that they wouldn't give me an overdraft. The stupid thing was was that they said i have a bad score, but couldn't tell me how to improve it because if they knew how to they could fiddle the system.....Ridiculas

I am still alive, ive got MUCH to update but since we don't have the net yet in the new house i can't do much at the mo. Anyway, Boo :P

Well its been a while since ive updated this thing again.

Woo! I also got my download tickets today hehehe only like a week away now, can't wait.

Tomorrow i shall also be moving out of this hell hole of a student hall. Gonna be a pretty amusing year ahead i think living with Adam, Dan and Dani. So since i found out the house is ready to be moved into ive been packing all my stuff up and ive very nearly done. Just got the comp, tv and 360 to pack up. This room's exetremely bland with nothing covering up the off-white walls.

What else is here. Ahh my contact lens are all cool now too, im used to putting them in and taking them out first attempt. Went to see about getting the custom made ones yesterday too, but apparantly my eyesight is good enough to be able to keep ones like the trail pair i've got now so that'll be saving me a ton of money. My left eye is pretty sharp when ive got them in but the right eye's abit out of focus but still, it doesnt really make much difference unless i close one eye.

Went back home 2 weeks about for a week too. Nothings really changed much back at home. Went to the tiv when we where there too, tis an alright night with me Taran, Jake, Scott, Rose and Garant. Met up with G, Jo, Hannah and Emmz when we got there, twas good to see everyone again. Then the Tuesday after that Friday a bunch of us went to the pub and after to Taran and Jake's. We said up til about 6 watching films and stuff then attempted to go to sleep with 4 of us on a single bed, that didn't really work to be honest, quite uncomfortable lol. Discovering the next day that Taran and Jake live right by my Dad's i thought i'd go pay him a visit. All the inside of the house is nearly complete now and so he's gonna place the house on the market in a few weeks looking to get about £350,000 for it.

Latest news, i no longer wear glasses, WOO!! I've got a pair of trial lens for now, the left lens is perfect but the right one is slightly out of focus, but its nothing too annoying. In 2 weeks time i go back to get my proper lens sorted out, and thier gonna be expensive :S, with my eyes being "pipe" shaped as opposed to round or rugby ball shaped.
Its wierd going through town and catching my reflection in a window and seeing my walking around without glasses.

Becky came up yesterday and she left about an hour ago. Should be off to see Spider-Man 3 tonight with Adam, Dan and Dani.

Haven't updated in a while. Hmm whats been happeneing. Well, i've decided to change my course to Games Design in September, codeing's really as boring as i hoped it wouldn't be, so design it is, alot more fun. OH yeah, another thing that really pissed me off, i mentioned a while ago that theres some people in my class that were talking shit when they thought i was listening to my music, well, they made a VERY bad move.

Before we broke up for easter we all had to work on a assignment together. I decided that i'd do the biggest part of the project, Ethical conciderations with games like GTA. It was worth 20% of the overall grade and everyone elses was worth either 5%, 10% or 15%. So we all got the work done and it was to be handed in on the last day of term, the friday before the easter hols. I went back home on the Thursday so i wasnt there to hand in the work, and i told them that i wouldn't be in Preston.
So, we got the grades back from that assignment. The other 6 people got between 6%-11% on thier parts, my part however got 18% which i was pretty impressed with, but hold on a fucking minute, i looked at the "Group members" part of the paper. There were only 6 names on it, mine not being there at all, so calmly i asked were the FUCK my name was, and the biggest prick of the lot said that my name doesn't deserve to be on the paper as i wasnt there to hand it in. Well, i throw at him some select words and what would you know, he sudden thought it would be a good idea if we went and told the tutor that i've been missed off..........What a fucking wanker.

As well as that Rich's party was last weekish, that was pretty cool, we all wore hippy clothes, got high and well, just partyed at rich's, twas fun.

Taran also came down a few days ago, hes also doing games design here at Uclan and he had his interview here so he came and crashed at mine for a few days and sampled university life, which he now enjoys :D

What else.............OH yeah ive also bought my tickets to Download now hheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D, can't wait.

Next week is the last week of classes and then i've just got 3 exams and then im FREEEEEEE. But i realised, if im changing course in Sept (which has now been confirmed), why is there any point in me revising and taking the exams.....there is no point, wooooo

Well, some cock smoking motherfuck has had off with my wallet. Man im not too best impressed.

What happened was i was in the C+T building last night doing some work. The keyboard i was using had its tabs on the underneithe broke so i used my wallet to prop it up, yeah, looking back it wasnt the wisest of things to do. I was there for a good few ours working on a presentation i had to do today, by the time i left there was only about 5 others in the room. I left at about 7:30 and the building is locked up at about 8.

Woke up this morning to go to lesson and went to get my 4 usual things i always take with me; keys,. mobile, psp and.....hold on....where the fucks my wallet. So i racked my brain for a good 20 minutes and tipped my room unside down. Then BAM, i realised where i had left it, it was still under the keyboard. I stormed down to the room i was in and checked the keyboard, nothing. It was about 11am now so the building had only been open for 2 hours. They had been 1 class and that was Raj's class, so i asked him and he hasn't heard anything about it. For the rest of the day i've been running around asking EVERYONE that has anything to do do with the cleaners and sucurity to see if they've handed it in, nope is the answer to that.

Sooooo somebody has my card that i don't know and they've chosen to not hand it in, sounds like theft to me. I've just this second got off the phone from voiding my card so they can't use it if they try to, annoying that i'm going to have to wait 5 working days for my card to arrive, that should be tuesday, not too bad, i get my £250 bursary on Monday. I just need money to get home and for the tiv too.

Ahhh well, shower time

Sooo last night i went out to PR1 with a buncha people, concidering i only went out with a tenner and stayed realatively sober all night i had a pretty good time. After that i went rounf to Adam, Dan and Dani's, on the way there i was followed by some random, highly annoying girl shouting "heym hey you, bushy hair person". Ignored her mostly until she shouted that she knows one of my friends and needs to talk to them. It was the girl Dan's seeing that she needed to talk to. So she came to the thier house too telling me on the way about how she wears baggy tops to hit her "jelly bits" that she got from having a baby....hmm...

When we got to Talbot Road, random girl and Dan's miss' just ended up talking shit anyway though, it was funny that random girl was saying shit like "i know you don't want to be fat, but if we make up again i'll take you to pizza hut and buy you enough food so you will be fat" O_o... yeaaaaah so i take it they had a fall out at PR1 or something....i don't really care.

It got to about 3:30 now and i decided to head off and get some sleep, random girl however failed to pick up on prof_raddish and Dani's hints that they're going to go to bed and want her gone, she kept not wanting to phone her taxi and say and talk to her "new friends". Gutted for them.


Oh yeah i was a zombie last week :D. I was askedby Lara to be an extra in one of the 3rd year's fail pieces which was cool. So i was all maked up, coovered in fake blood and acted all brain dead for the day. It was pretty cool but the bad thing was that we were outside most of the day in just jeans and a t-shirt, it was FREEZING cold and my top was soaked in fake blood, but hey, it made for a prety euthenic rigor mortis effect.


I managed to get that assembler work in on time too, well, by on time i mean that if it was handed in an hour later i'd of got an instant 0% for it. The work was still below 40% however, but i'll make it up by doing an awesome presentation and aceing the exam so it'll al be cool....hopefully.


Hmmm...i also have £10 to last me until the 2nd of April, i have NO food in the house as well and need to do some washing, its not looking good. As well, i has no idea that it was mother's day a couple of days ago too. I only found out when Jerry text me telling me mum was pissed that i didn't send a card. But to the honest i had didn't even know, i hadn't been watching TV so i ddint catch any ad for it, i'd be busy as well with doing 3 assignments all in on the same week and im VERY skintola, so i guess i'll just buy her something when i go back to Wrexham in a couple of weeks. I did ring her but she still didn't sound too inpressed though, meep.

Last week of uni untl the 3 week easter break too, can't wait to have abit of a holiday and a break from getting up at 9 everyday.

OOH i've also nearly finished my very first game too. Its an assignment i've got to do for my game concept module. Tis a space game, pretty simple but you've got to get a ship to fly through a starlet of moons, but they're a solar system spinning around and stuff. I've only got to do the collisions and i'll get a 100% for it, sweeet :D

There, thats everything i think. Ooh and they're some AWESOME bands playing download this year, its gonna freakin ruuuuule

Todays been one of those days. I'd spend about 2 hours staring adn altering my CSS and HTML code and NOTHING was work. I was changing whole parts of code and when i an it in IE it was still the same, even parts that i deleted all together were still showing up, very odd. So after hours trying to asked others what the hell was up, took some dude an hour to find and sort right. That was at 5pm, its now 12am and i've JUST finished and all the pages of the website i've had to make are valid with the W3C too, woop :D. Now i just have the evaluation and the report to do for web application....and then i have the rest of the C++ work to do, manya hours will have to be spend on that and i still need to get ready for my presentation on optical storage devices AND do my assembler work..................All for Monday.... It sucks.... its gonna take about 10 hours of work at least everyday until then, and thats if it all goes nice and smoothly, which it won't.

So far it feels like things are going against me, in EVERY lesson i've been stuck for hours not being able to do work. When i ask whats up with my codes people don't know, they can't find the problem so i've had to start from scratch or if someobdy does suss out whats up with it it'll be the most stupidist, easy thing like i'd for get to close off a mark or something, grrrr.

I also now only have about £50 to last me until April 1st when i get my £250 ones to watch scholorship thingy. Then 16 days after that i get my £2k loan again, w00t :D. But still, i could do with that now ¬_¬

Anyway time for bed, staring at screens all day long is never a good thing..

Nothing has happened much lately, works goign ok. Well expect from PC internals, thats gone to shit and i'll have to hand it in as late work, grrrr.

Becky left today too from her weekend stay, twas fun.

Anyway, the discovery......I always knew that Adult Swin ruled. But now, oooooooh damn them. I seen Metalocalypse for the first time last week and its quite possibly one of the best programs IN THE WOOOOORLD! Its got an awesome themesong, cool characters and its pretty damn fuuny.....So here you are :P

On Monday i trade my wii and games for the wii in. There just isn't anything out for aaages on it, and Smash Brothers Brawl got put back AGAIN, they haven't confirmed a date for its release now. So i packed it all up and took it to game station, i got £170 credit for it all so it wasn't too bad actually, only £10 less then i paid for it in the first place.

So with the credit i got a charger thing for the 360 and Guitar Hero 2. Ooooh man Guitar Hero rules :D. Spend most of Monday, Tuesday on it. Then i went round to Adam, Dan and Dani's yesterday and we were all playing it there since they have 2 copies of the game for some reason. I'v managed to 5 star all the songs on easy and nearly on medium, at the moment im jsut about scrapping through the songs on hard, nevermind expert, but its all good.

I've still got £92 left of credit so ill keep that when something else cool comes out. Like when Crackdown comes out tomorrow hehe.

Tonight i'm gonna get some episodes of Hero off Bam. Everyone keeps talking about it and how i'd like it, but i never heard of it until lately, sounds pretty good though.
